Palestinian medics located on Friday evening the body of an Islamic Jihad fighter who was killed during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the southern part of the Gaza Strip last week. The fighter was identified as Jihad Al Doghma, 23. His body was located near the border fence east of Khan Younis. His body was moved to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

The Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said that Al Doghma is one of its fighters and that he was killed during clashes with Israeli soldiers in Khan Younis eight days ago.

An Israeli officer and a soldier were killed in the clashes and several soldiers were wounded.

Two residents, Haitham and Salam Arafat were also killed in the clashes and ten others were wounded.
