The Israeli Air Force carried out several air strikes targeting areas in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, and in Gaza City; damage was reported, no injuries.Local sources reported that F-16 fighter jets fired two missiles at an area near the Gaza International Airport in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Damage was reported to a building previously targeted by the army.
The airport was repeatedly shelled and destroyed by Israel in numerous attacks.
Furthermore, the army bombarded an open area in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Another air strike was carried out in Gaza City causing damage to a number of homes.
Israeli army radio reported that the Air Force launched three air strike strikes in retaliation to a homemade shell fired at the Western Negev last night. The shell caused no damage or injuries.
An Israeli army spokesperson stated that one of the bombarded targets is a weapons-manufacturing workshop in northern Gaza, and that another strike targeted a tunnel in Rafah and a group of armed men.
