Central Gaza has been struck by a pre-dawn Israeli air raid, Saturday morning, resulting in one death and thirteen injuries.Issa Batran, a commander of Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades, was killed in the raid, when missile fire struck his caravan in the Gaza Strip. Along with Batran’s death, thirteen people were injured.
Batran was, according to reports from al-Jazeera, a senior rocket maker
Israel has stated that this raid is in response to the missiles fired from the North of Gaza, into the Israeli city of Ashkelon, seven miles to the North, on Friday, that resulted in damage, but no injuries or death.
