On Tuesday, the day 21 since the resumption of the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army continued its indiscriminate bombing of various areas in the devastated, starved, and besieged Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women, while the army continued to block the entry of humanitarian and medical supplies into the coastal enclave since the beginning of the previous month.

Six Palestinians, including three children, were killed, and many others injured when an Israeli missile targeted a tent sheltering a displaced family in Mawasi Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

Media sources said among the slain children is Arkan Najjar whose grandmother was injured when the army bombarded their tent.

Also, the army fired shells and missiles at Asda’ area and Abasan town, in Khan Younis, killing at least two Palestinians and causing several injuries.

The army also bombed a home in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, causing several casualties.

Furthermore, the army fired shells near the University College of Applied Sciences in the southern area of Gaza, killing two Palestinians and causing several injuries.

In central Gaza, at least two Palestinians were killed and many injured when the army bombarded a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army fired missiles at displaced families in the northwestern area of the city, killing and wounding many Palestinians.

Also in Rafah, Palestinian medics located the corpse of a Palestinian who was killed earlier in teh day after the army killed him near Miraj Junction, north of Rafah.

In addition, Al Jazeera English reported that the Israeli army bombed a so-called “safe zone” in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, killing at least two people, including a two-year-old child.

The bombing occurred just three hundred meters from a clinic operated by Doctors Without Borders. Emergency doctor Mohammed Shaath provided a statement detailing the harrowing scene he witnessed.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said the medics transferred 58 slain Palestinians, and 213 wounded, including children and women to medical centers across the coastal enclave, in addition to many who remain under the rubble.

“There were a lot of bombs,” he said.

“The injured started to arrive… First we received seven injuries. Two of them were in life-threatening conditions. We dealt with them immediately. We transferred them with the ambulances.

“We received two cases. Two of them were dead. The first case was a two-year-old child. The second case was a young man in his thirties.

“The situation was very bad.

“There was a state of anxiety for everyone present. The bombing was so close to us. The sound was very loud. The shrapnel were visible. Flying all around… The smoke. The smell. Honestly, I can’t describe the scene. The injuries. Most of them were not easy. Between the stomach. The head. The chest.

“The team is now starting to realize what has just happened. They are in a state of shock… There were only a few meters [300] between us and the bombing.”

Earlier Tuesday, dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded in continued Israeli airstrikes targeting residential areas.

On the political front, Egypt has introduced a new proposal aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza. The plan includes the release of nine captives, among them U.S. citizen soldier Aidan Alexander, as well as the repatriation of the remains of three deceased captives who also held U.S. citizenship.

The proposal further outlines the release of three hundred Palestinian detainees, including 150 serving life sentences, and 2,200 prisoners from Gaza.

Additionally, the ceasefire period would be extended to 70 days, allowing time to resume negotiations for a second phase.

This extension would also enable the facilitation of humanitarian aid, fuel deliveries, the reopening of border crossings, and the provision of detailed information regarding the fate of the remaining prisoners.

A Hamas delegation is expected to arrive in Cairo to meet with Egyptian officials and discuss several critical issues, including Egypt’s mediation efforts for the Gaza ceasefire, the proposed partial prisoner exchange agreement, and internal reconciliation with the Fateh movement. The talks follow a recent visit by a Fatah delegation last Saturday, led by Jibril Rajoub.

United Nations human rights experts have released a joint statement highlighting the destruction of lives in Gaza due to relentless Israeli bombardment and the absence of basic survival necessities, demonstrating a complete disregard for human life.

The experts further emphasized that the UN is no longer able to guarantee the safety of its teams on the ground in Gaza. An unprecedented number of aid workers have lost their lives as a result of what they described as genocide being carried out by Israel in the enclave.

The statement pointed out that Israeli policies have become more extreme since October 7, 2023, with an escalation in what many perceive as genocide.

UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric urged world leaders to take immediate action to save over two million Palestinians in Gaza who face relentless bombing, starvation, and a crippling siege.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza issued an urgent appeal, citing severe shortages of essential medicines and medical supplies in hospitals. The continued closure of border crossings has disrupted healthcare services and halted surgical operations, exacerbating the crisis as the number of injured Palestinians rises due to intensified Israeli attacks.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli airstrikes have destroyed 34 out of Gaza’s 38 hospitals, including government-run and private facilities. The remaining four hospitals are operating at minimal capacity despite significant damage and a severe shortage of medicines and medical equipment, according to the latest statistics from the Gaza Government Media Office.

Israeli airstrikes have also rendered 80 healthcare centers completely out of service and destroyed 162 other medical facilities.

Since October 18, 2025, when the army resumed the bombing of Gaza, Israel has killed at least 1,449 Palestinians, and injured more than 3,647, largely children and women, in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

Since the beginning of the year, the Israeli army has killed at least 1901 Palestinians, including 322 women, 546 children and seventeen journalists.

693 were killed in Gaza, 428 in Northern Gaza (Beit Hanoun, Jabalia and Beit Lahia) 347 in central Gaza, 233 in Rafah in Gaza’s southmost part, and two hundred in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

Israel has now killed at least 50,810 Palestinians, including 15,626 children, 9,805 women, 3,853 elders, 234 journalists and twenty-three medics, and injured more than 115,688 largely children and women.
