Israeli sources reported that Hamas Interior Minister of the dissolved government in Gaza, Fathi Hammad, stated that Hamas will liberate Akka and Haifa, and that armies from different parts of the world will join this effort. His statements came during a visit to a university in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
He addressed Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and said “we are coming to liberate Haifa and Akka, we will be joined by armies from all over the world”.
Hammad added that Hamas will remain steadfast on the path of resistance and that “the enemy that enforces a siege on us is the same enemy that trapped itself behind the wall”.
He also stated that Israeli leaders are worried about travelling abroad as they fear they will be prosecuted by International Criminal Courts.
The Hamas official accused president Mahmoud Abbas or providing endless concessions to Israel, and said “no matter what concessions you make, Israel and the United States, nothing will please them, and you will end up making more concessions”.
