Israeli soldiers invaded on Monday afternoon the southern area of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and surrounded the Jenin branch of the Al Quds Open University. Eyewitnesses reported that several armored military vehicles invaded the Bir Jamal area and sealed several roads leading to the university.

The soldiers stopped several residents and checked their identity cards in a provocative way, the sources said.

Furthermore, soldiers installed a roadblock in Al Sweitat area on the main road that leads to Palestinian villages west of Jenin.

Troops stopped dozens of vehicles and searched them while interrogating the residents and checking their identity cards.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli soldiers kidnapped four Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank , and took them to unknown destinations.
