Envoys of the Middle East Quartet committee will meet in Brussels on Sunday to discuss the possibility of restarting the stalling peace process, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.The meeting of the Quartet will discuss the situation of the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, after the latest development whereby the Palestinian Authority submitted a request to the UN for full membership status in September.
European Union spokesman Michael Mann, stated on Friday that the International Quartet will consider ways of renewing negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
The Quartet is comprised of representatives from Russia, the USA, the European Union, and the United Nations.
