Israeli sources reported Sunday that a settler was mildly injured when a Palestinian hurled a Molotov cocktail at a car driving on a settler road near Qalqilia, in the northern part of the West Bank.. Following the attack, the army combed the area searching for the assailant; no arrests were reported at the time of this report.
In related news, Israeli IBA News reported that one Israeli suffered mild injuries when Palestinian fighters in Gaza fired two shells into southern Israel.
On Friday, fighters fired a shell into Ashkelon region leading to no damages or injuries.
On Saturday evening, the Israeli army killed a Palestinian and wounded three other, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The slain resident was a member of the Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad.
Last week, the Israeli army carried out 17 airstrikes targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip, killing twelve Palestinian resistance fighters, nine of whom were from the Al Quds Brigades; two other were wounded.
Three Palestinian civilians, including a child, were also wounded in the attacks. The Islamic Jihad has vowed retaliation.
