A group of extremist Israeli settlers uprooted at least thirty olive trees on Monday. They belonged to the Palestinian residents of Madama village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the Maan news Agency reported.Head of the Madama Village Council, Ehab Tahseen, stated that the olive trees belong to residents Mahmoud Ziyada and Amin Nassar.
He called on international human rights groups and legal organizations to intervene and stop the sharply increasing attacks carried out by the settlers against the Palestinians in the occupied territories.
It is worth mentioning that settlers of the nearby illegal Yitzhar settlement are behind dozens of attacks against the Palestinians and their lands.
