Two Palestinian children killed by Israeli military bomb in southern West Bank while Israeli troops continue to arrest civilians during morning invasions. These stories and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Two Palestinian children were killed five others injured on Tuesday afternoon when an Israeli military bomb detonated near them, local sources reported.
Medical sources said that Hamza Jaradat, 13, and Ziyad Jaradat, 12, died after sustaining wounds all over their bodies. All other five injured children were admitted to hospital for treatment, doctors reported.
Local sources said that the explosion took place at a farm land east of Hebron city. Palestinian police said that bomb was a left over by the Israeli military. Residents of the area told local news that two years ago a bomb exploded near the location of today’s incident and killed two children.
In other news Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday, sixteen Palestinians, including four teenagers, in several districts in the occupied West Bank, installed roadblocks, searched dozens of vehicles, and took over a vehicle that belongs to a resident of Jerusalem.
Local news sources reported that six of those kidnapped b y the army today were from the village of Beit Ummar town in southern West Bank.
Mohammad Abu Awad, spokesperson of the Popular Committee Against Settlements in Beit Ummar, stated that soldiers, based at the entrance of Beit Ummar, stopped and searched dozens of vehicles, causing a traffic jam, and caused deliberate damage to a number of vehicles.
