Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday, thirteen Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank, and took them to unknown destinations; at least three of those taken are children.Local sources reported that soldiers abducted five university students, in Hebron, in the southern part of the west Bank.
Two of the kidnapped students were young women identified as Fatima az-Zahra’ Sidir, 24, and Afnan Ramadan.
Yousef Abu Maria, Coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, stated that soldiers invaded Beit Ummar, and kidnapped three children.
The kidnapped children were identified as Mohammad Ahmad Abu Hashem, 14 years old, Badran Jalal Abu Ayyash, 15, and Tareq Jamal Abu Maria, 17.
Abu Maria said that Tareq was kidnapped after the soldiers broke into his home and detained his father.
Furthermore, soldiers invaded the West Bank districts of Ramallah and Bethlehem, broke into and searched several homes, and abducted five Palestinians.
In related news, soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle in ar-Ramadeen area, south of Hebron. The bullets caused the car to catch fire; no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, the National Resistance Brigades, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), claimed responsibility for detonating an explosive charge near a military bulldozer, and military vehicles, invading Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
