The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated Thursday that a convoy headed by Secretary-General of the Humanitarian Relief Committee, Dr. Khaled Abdul-Aziz, managed to enter the Gaza Strip to deliver urgently needed medical supplies.Convoy members were welcomed by health ministry officials, public relations officials and journalists.
They carried several sorts of urgently needed medications, in addition to solutions used in Kidney dialysis, anesthetic medications, antibiotics, and several other medications and equipment used to help cancer patients.
Abdul-Aziz said that convoy members are delighted to be in Gaza, in Palestine, and called for more support to the Palestinian people and their just cause and struggle against the occupation.
He added that the Israeli siege on Gaza is illegal and must be fully ended, and pledged that more convoys will be sent to Gaza to deliver the needed medical supplies and medications.
