Israeli Ynet News reported Tuesday that four Israeli soldiers were wounded, one seriously, when a Palestinian Taxi crashed into an Israeli military vehicle that was parked near the Neve Daniel illegal settlement, near the West Bank city of Bethlehem.Three soldiers were mildly injured while the fourth suffered moderate injuries, the Ynet said, and added that the driver fled the scene. All wounded soldiers were moved to an Israeli medical center in Jerusalem.
Following the incident, the army initiated a search campaign in an attempt to locate and arrest the driver.
The soldiers were reportedly standing near their military jeep that was hit from behind by the Palestinian Taxi.
The Ynet reported that the army believes that the army is not ruling out that the accident might have been intentional.
The Israeli paper further reported that a Palestinian driver, identified as Arqaan Bader, 25, is facing murder charges for killing a security guard in Neve Daniel Israeli settlement, in the southern part of the West Bank last month.
The guard, Lior Farhi, was hit by a car driven by Bader who was allegedly illegally transporting Palestinian workers into Israel.
