Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday at dawn, the wife of detainee Mohammad Atiyya Abu Warda, after breaking into her home in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank.The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) in Hebron reported that the soldiers violently searched Abu Warda’s home after invading it approximately at 5 at dawn; damage was reported, the Wattan TV reported.
The PPS added that several armored military vehicles and jeeps surrounded the house of Abu Warda before violently breaking into it.
The soldiers cuffed and blindfolded the wife and dragged her to one of their vehicles before driving to an unknown destination.
It is worth mentioning that Amjad Abu Warda was sentenced by an Israeli court to 47 life terms as Israel claims that that he is responsible for several attacks carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement.
