Two Palestinian civilians killed and five injured as Israeli shelling targeting Gaza continues while three civilians injured by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Two Palestinian civilians were killed another five injured by the continued Israeli bombardment targeting Gaza which started on Monday at dawn.
On Monday midday local sources said that Israeli unmanned plane fired a missile at a group of people in Abed Al Hameed Street, in the town of Beit Hannon, northern Gaza Strip, killing two men and injuring a third.
Later in the day Israeli fighter jet fired a missile at residents’ homes in Beit Hannon injuring two civilians. Doctors said that one man was critically injured. Local sources said that schools were evacuated in Beit Hannon fearing from the Israeli continued shelling targeting the town.
On Monday early in the morning three Palestinians were injured after the Israeli Air Force fired a missile into the Sheikh Zayed City, near Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Local sources said that the three wounded residents were moved to Kamal Odwan Hospital suffering moderate injuries.
Staying in Gaza, on Sunday Israeli naval forces boarded a humanitarian aid ship, the SV Estelle, that was en route to the Gaza Strip bringing humanitarian aid supplies including musical instruments and building materials.
The SV Estelle, which bears the flag of Finland, was guided into the Israeli port of Ashdod. the 30 passengers and crew, which include a former Canadian parliament member and several former members of the Israeli military who have since renounced the Israeli occupation of Palestine, have all been taken into custody by the Israeli military.
In the West Bank on Monday, Israeli settlers attacked and injured two Palestinians and one international supporter who were biking up olives in southern West Bank. local sources said that a group of armed Israeli settlers attacked a group of Palestinian farmers and their international supporters as they harvested their olives near the illegal settlement of Ramat Yishai.
Soldiers arrived at location and arrested the two Palestinian civilians and one international who were attacked and injured by the settlers and allowed the settlers to flee the scene. the illegal settlement of Ramat Yishai is built on lands owned by the villagers of Tall Rumida near Hebron city.
