Israeli sources reported Thursday that Israeli settlers clashed with Israeli soldiers while demolishing three illegal structures built by the settlers near the Yitzhar illegal settlement, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.Israeli TV, Channel 10, reported that the incident took place on Wednesday at night, and that one settler was apprehended by the soldiers; no injuries were reported.
Channel 10 added that several Israeli military jeeps arrived at the illegal outpost, and started the demolition of three illegal structures, before dozens of young settlers started throwing rocks at the soldiers, and tried to obstruct their work.
The settlers claimed that the army resorted to excessive use of force against them, and added that several settlers were detained after the army confiscated their mobile phones.
