Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed that Israelâs construction and expansion of Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, mainly in and around occupied East Jerusalem, âdo not pose any threat to the peace processâ.The Israeli Prime Minister added that âthe real threat to the world is not the Jews who are building in Jerusalem, but the Nuclear weapons Iran is developingâ, according to Netanyahu.
He added that Israel is dealing with these âthreatsâ, and called on the International community âto join Israel is this struggleâ, the Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported.
Netanyahu further stated that âIsrael appreciates the American efforts on the Iranian fileâ, and added that âthe time has come to the rest of the world to wake upâ.
Netanyahu also claimed that Israel is seeking real peace, and that Tel Aviv âis willing to provide concessions to achieve this peaceâ.
Two days ago, Netanyahu claimed that Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, continues to ignore what he called âall Israeli efforts to resume direct peace talksâ, and accused Abbas of placing âimpossible preconditionsâ.
The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank had to quit talks with Israel due to its ongoing violations topped by its ongoing invasions, arrests, the demolition of homes, and its ongoing settlement construction and expansion activities in direct violation of International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention to which Israel is a signatory.
