Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday morning, the villages of Al-Yamoun and Jaba’, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, broke into and searched several homes, and kidnapped three residents.Eyewitnesses reported that the army also installed a roadblock at the main entrance of Jaba’ village, searched dozens of vehicles and interrogated the residents.
The army kidnapped two Palestinians in the village, and took them to an unknown destination; the two have been identified as Mohammad Hamarna, 47, and Mohammad Alawna, 17; Alawna is a high school student.
All kidnapped residents were taken prisoner by the army from their homes; the soldiers violently searched the homes causing property damage.
In the nearby village of Al-Yamoun, the army also broke into and searched several homes, and kidnapped one resident.
The kidnapped resident was identified as Abdul-Ghani Abu Al-Haija, 53. An Israeli security, officer who accompanied the soldiers, interrogated Abu Al-Haija and his family in their own home.
The officer wanted to know the location of Samed, the son of Abdul-Ghani, as he is “wanted” by the Israeli army.
Invasions into the Palestinian communities are carried out into a daily basis; these invasions include breaking into homes, destroying Palestinian property, installing roadblocks, attacking, interrogating and kidnapping the residents.
