Palestinian medical sources reported that two Palestinian have been injured after Israeli soldiers opened fire at Palestinian agricultural lands east of Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The source said that soldiers, stationed at a military tower across the border, opened fire at the residents, wounding two, who were taken to the Kamal Odwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
The latest attacks are part of ongoing violations carried out against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Four Palestinians have been killed and more than 75 have been injured since the Egyptian-mediated ceasefire was reached on November 22 of last year following a massive 9-day long Israeli offensive. No Israelis have been killed or wounded by Palestinians since the ceasefire was declared.
