Tuesday April 23, 2013, a number of armed extremist Israeli settlers invaded the Dir Jareer village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and torched 10 Palestinian cars in addition to attacking other Palestinian property in the village.Local sources reported that the settlers conducted their assault during early dawn hours, burnt the cars and attacked property before leaving the village, the Arabs48 news website reported.

The attack is similar to numerous attacks in the Ramallah district and in several parts of the West Bank in which the settlers attacked property and wrote racist graffiti. These attacks included numerous assaults targeting churches and mosques in occupied Palestine.

On Friday, April 19, a group of extremist Israeli settlers occupied a Christian Monastery in a Palestinian village, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and raised an Israeli flag over it.
