Israeli troops invade West Bank communities kidnap civilians and attack homes while the Israeli army claims that a gunship came under fire near Gaza.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded various districts in the occupied West Bank, and kidnapped 19 Palestinians, clashes have been reported.

Soldiers kidnapped Hasan Breijiyya, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall In Bethlehem as they attacked a nonviolent protest against a visit of the Israeli Transportation Minister to the southern entrance of the town as part of plans for a settler road.

Dozens of soldiers also invaded the Al-Khader town, near Bethlehem, and kidnapped one resident. Clashes have been reported between local youths and Israeli soldiers after the army violently searched the homes of the kidnapped Palestinians.

Moreover local sources in the Al-Jalazonerefugee camp, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, have reported that the army invaded the camp, broke into and searched several homes, causing damage, and kidnapped three residents.

Soldiers also invaded Bodrus village, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and kidnapped eight men. In Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, the army kidnapped one Palestinian. In northern West Bank Dozens of soldiers also invaded Tal village, west of Nablus, and kidnapped one resident.

In the Gaza strip the Israeli Radio has reported Thursday that several rounds of live ammunition have been fired, late on Wednesday at night, at an Israeli gunship near the Gaza Coast.
The Radio said that the ship was “conducting a routine activity”, and that no damage or injuries were reported.
It added that the army initiated an investigation into the attack. Israel TV, Channel 2, has reported that Palestinian fighters were behind the attack against an Israeli Navy ship, paroling the Gaza shore on Wednesday at night. Palestinian armed groups in Gaza did not claim responsibility for the incident.
