[Wednesday Evening, February 12, 2014] Palestinian medical sources have reported that four Palestinians have been injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers invading an area close to Shuhada Junction, in Qabatia, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Local sources said that the army invaded the area and conducted searches before clashes took place between them and local young Palestinians.
The sources said that local youth threw stones and empty bottles at the invading soldiers, and that the army fired rounds of live ammunition, gas bombs and rubber-coated metal bullets.
Medical sources said three Palestinians were shot with live rounds, and one was hit with a gas bomb fired by the soldiers; they were moved to the Jenin Governmental Hospital, suffering mild-to-moderate injuries.
The sources said resident Mohammad Kamal Tazaz’a was shot in the arm, Ali Taiseer Zakarna was shot in the leg, Nizar ed-Deen Khazaz’a was shot in the leg, and Samer Asas’a was shot by a gas bomb, in the chest area.
