Israeli forces stormed three Jenin-area villages in the northern West Bank, early on Sunday, and detained a young Palestinian man, locals said.Locals informed Ma’an that Israeli military vehicles stormed the villages of Silat al-Harithiya, al-Yamoun and Ajjah in Jenin district, unleashing police dogs and ransacking several homes in the process.
In Silat al-Harithiya, Israeli troops detained 28-year-old Fuad Abdul-Rahman Jaradat.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed the detention, adding that the ‘suspect was transferred for security questioning.’
The internationally recognized Palestinian territories of which the West Bank and East Jerusalem form a part have been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967.
