Local sources have reported that Israeli soldiers kidnapped on Tuesday [April 1, 2014] a young Palestinian woman and a journalist in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.The sources said the army kidnapped Tahani Mohammad Abu Mayyala, and a journalist identified as Hamza Ahmad Salayma.
The soldiers first stopped the woman near a roadblock, in the southern area of Hebron, and assaulted her before the journalist, Salayma, tried to stop them.
Soldiers then kidnapped the two Palestinians, and took them to a nearby military base.
Earlier on Tuesday at dawn, soldiers invaded various parts of the occupied West Bank, kidnapping ten Palestinians, including eight in different areas of Hebron.
Also on Tuesday, soldiers invaded the Hares village, in the central West Bank district of Salfit, and demolished a carwash facility belonging to resident Fadi Kleib.
The army tossed all equipment out of the place, and demolished it.
In related news, an accident took place between an Israeli military jeep and a Palestinian car, at the Hares junction, causing mild injuries among the soldiers and Palestinians.
