Israeli troops injury three workers in Gaza and destroy aid tents in the West Bank. These sorties, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Three Palestinians were injured on Thursday after being shot by Israeli forces near Erez crossing north of the Gaza Strip.

Witnesses said that soldiers stationed at a military watch tower opened fire at workers collecting small stones from fields to be used for making concrete, injuring three.

Local sources said that two of the injured sustained serious injuries, all three men were moved to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Earlier, Israeli forces fired an artillery shell at an open area in the northern Gaza Strip. The tank shell landed in an open area near Erez crossing. Moreover Israeli forces on Thursday afternoon fired three shells at areas in al Qarara village, east of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip. Damage was reported but no injuries.

In the West Bank, Israeli authorities, on Thursday morning, announced a decision to confiscate about 1,000 dunams (250 acres) of private Palestinian land in the town of al-Khader, near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Villagers said that Israeli military commanders and Civil Administration officers, along with a group of settlers, toured private Palestinian fields They left yellow posters reading “State properties! No entry,”.

The Israeli army officers dropped off copies of a statement which explained that 984 dunams of private land was slated for confiscation. Palestinian farmers who wish to contest the decision can object within 45 days, according to the statement.

Elsewhere, Israeli troops tore down and confiscated on Thursday several tents that the Palestinian Red Crescent had erected, east of Nablus, in order to house families whose houses were demolished by Israeli forces a last week. The families used to live in structures made of metal bars and tin sheets in the area, but Israeli forces had demolished those structures last week.
