Israeli war on Gaza enters its 21st day, war plans attack hospitals and children playgrounds in the meantime death toll reaches 1076 in the coastal region due to the continued attacks. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
At least 10 children killed, 20 others injured when Israeli war planes attacked on Monday evening a children playground near Al Shate’ refugee camp in Gaza City. Shortly after Israeli jets fired missiles at Al Shifa hospital wounding five civilians.
On Monday Palestinian Muslims marked the first day of the Eftar holiday which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, however, according to the Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza, 30 civilians were killed on Monday. The death toll has reached 1076 and more than 6500 injured since Israel started its war on Gaza.
The Israeli army claimed in a statement on Monday that the 10 children near Gaza city will killed when a Palestinian shell misfired and hit the playground they were in. Palestinian security forces in Gaza announced that they retrieved parts of the Israeli missiles that hit both the playground and Al Shifa hospital. IMEMC’s Rami Al Meghari in Gaza:
At the political level United States President Barack Obama and the United Nations Security Council have both called for an unconditional ceasefire from Israel on Monday. Their plan is based on an Egyptian proposal that would put a temporary end to ‘hostilities’ and would open talks about the future of the Gaza Strip. This includes possibly opening Gaza’s borders.
In the West Bank clashes continued between invading Israeli troops and Palestinian protesters in solidarity with Gaza. Clashes were reported in Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus and Jenin.
One civilians was injured by Israeli troops’ gunfire in Hebron city. Last week Israeli soldiers killed at least 10 protesters in the West Bank.
Moreover, on Sunday late at night and Monday at dawn 18 Palestinians were kidnapped by Israeli forces across the West Bank, in addition to five from the Jerusalem area.
