On Monday, a wounded Palestinian man died at an Egyptian hospital of serious injuries suffered several days ago when the army bombarded Rafah. Remains of two Palestinians located under rubble in Central Gaza.
At least 1944 Palestinians were killed and more than 9800 were injured by Israeli attacks targeting Gaza since the army started its war on the coastal region on July 8th, the Palestinian health ministry reports.
Elsewhere, a young Palestinian man was killed on Monday, at dawn, by an Israeli army shell fired on a home in Qabalan village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. At least eight Palestinians, including five family members, have been injured by Israeli army fire and shells.
Witnesses said that troops surrounded a home in the town as army bulldozers demolished it then soldiers fired shells inside killing Zakariyya al-Aqra’, 24.
Two undercover Israeli soldiers have been mildly injured during a fire exchange with al-Aqra’, Israeli sources said. The army claims the armed clash with the Palestinian lasted for a few hours.
Later on Monday, a Palestinian teen has been killed, and his brother was wounded, by an explosive charge dropped by the army near the central West Bank city of Tubas.
Mohammad Mo’tasem Abu Eshtayya, 17 years of age, was killed, and his brother Yousef was injured. They were herding their sheep in Palestinian grazing lands in the Northern Plains of the occupied West Bank.
The slain Palestinian, and his wounded brother, were moved to the Tubas Governmental Hospital, while the Palestinian Police initiated an investigation into the issue.
In the meantime, Israeli soldiers also invaded a number of Palestinian communities in the occupied West bank on Monday, broke into and violently searched several homes, and kidnapped at least four Palestinians.
