Dozens of Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, ‘Anza village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, broke into and ransacked several homes, and kidnapped 17 Palestinians. Soldiers also invaded a flea market near Nablus, and closed it.Palestinian security sources in Nablus stated that 10 Israeli military vehicles and jeeps invaded ‘Anza village, and searched dozens of homes for several hours, before kidnapping 17 Palestinians.
The kidnapped residents have been identified as Mershed Mofid Sadaqa, Mohannad Yacoub Sadaqa, Abdul-Rahman Mohannad Sadaqa, Ahmad Zaki Sadaqa, Mohammad Khaled Sadaqa, Mahdi Ziad Sadaqa, Bashir Sa’id Sadaqa, Hasan Abdul-Salam Obeido, Mohammad Hashem ‘Obeido, Ashraf Marwan Khader, Ahmad Fayeq Amro, Issam Hashem Barahma, Khalil Hashem Barahma, Emad Qassem Khader (Palestinian security officer), Sa’eb Bilal Barahma, Hasan Osama Khader, and Mohammad Nafe’ ‘Amour.
Soldiers also invaded Husan town, near Bethlehem, and kidnapped one Palestinian, identified as Rateb Sabateen.
In related news, soldiers invaded Beta village, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and closed its Flea Market.
Imad Hilal, coordinator of the Flea Market, stated that dozens of soldiers invaded the market, prevented the residents, and trucks, from entering or leaving it, and shut it down.
The soldiers said they are closing the market because “some Palestinians hurled stones at a settler’s car’ which was driving on a settlement road, close to the area.
Soldiers also installed a roadblock at the entrance of the village, searched several cars and interrogated dozens of residents while inspecting their ID cards.
