Israeli forces again, on Saturday, attacked Palestinians in the South Hebron Hills, this time in the village of Susiya, as citizens attempted to remove a tent erected by settlers on land belonging to a local resident.Head of Susiya village council Jihad al-Nawaja’a told WAFA Palestinian News & Info Agency that forces attacked the villagers as a prelude to take over the land for the benefit of expanding the nearby illegal Israeli settlement of Susiya.
Forces abducted one Palestinian, during the incident, identified as Mohammad al-Hadar, age 35; no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces continue to deny Palestinians access to their land in the region, attacking owners and activists and illegally allowing Israeli settlers to seize land and build structures.
