Under guard of Israeli soldiers, colonizers from the illegal settlement of Netafim leveled private Palestinian lands near the central West Bank village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, according to witnesses.The settlers intend to expand Netafim, which was founded in 1986 on Palestinian land, from the villages of Qarawat Bani Hassan and Deir Istiya, in the Salfit district, local researcher Khaled Maali told Ma’an News Agency.
Over 500,000 Israeli settlers now live in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, in contravention of international law.
