Israeli soldiers shoot and killed a Palestinian youth in Hebron, the second to be killed from the same family in two days. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli soldiers killed, Wednesday, a young Palestinian man in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after an alleged stabbing attack targeting an Israeli soldier and a settler. The slain Palestinianâs cousin was killed, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, Monday.
Medical sources said the Palestinian has been identified as Yosri Zakariyya Miswada, 21; he was shot in the Shuhada Street, in Hebron city.
Israeli sources said a soldier suffered a moderate injury in the chest, while a settler was lightly wounded in his leg, and that they were both transferred to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The wounded settler is the son of âJewish Homeâ Member of Knesset, Orit Struck, Israeli Ynet News has reported.
Eyewitnesses said the Palestinian was killed near Beit Hadassah illegal Israeli colony, in Hebronâs Old city, and that he was shot with several live rounds, and bled to death after the soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him.
It is worth mentioning that, on Monday, Israeli soldiers killed Yosriâs cousin, Ehab Fathi Miswada, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in Hebron.
In other news, two settlers were injured in a shooting incident, near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem on Wednesday. The Israeli army said the shooters sped towards Tulkarem, and that one of the wounded suffered a serious injury.
The shooting, carried out from a speeding vehicle, took place near Avnie Hefetz illegal colony, built on Palestinian lands in the northern West Bank.
Palestinian sources in Tulkarem said undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated into an area into the city, before several military vehicles invaded it.
The Israeli army also pushed more units in the area, apparently preparing to conduct a larger invasion.
