Israeli navy attack Gaza fishermen take two boats and abducts nine, and in the West Bank Israeli troops kidnap more than two dozen civilians including an entire family. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, a Palestinian home in the al-‘Isawiyya town, in the center of occupied Jerusalem, and abducted an entire family, including an infant, to pressure a 17-year-old sibling to surrender.
Local sources said that dozens of soldiers invaded the town, and surrounded the home of Tareq Darweesh, before invading the property and violently searching it, causing property damage. the soldiers assaulted the parents and their kids, before abducting them, and took them to the al-Maskobiyya interrogation center in Jerusalem.
Besides the father and the mother, the soldiers kidnapped their son, 16, their daughter, 14, in addition to their two years of age toddler. Troops were questioning the family about the location of their son, Yousef, 17, as they wanted to kidnap and interrogate him, but he was not at home at the time of the invasion. The soldiers then decided to hold the entire family captive, as a means to pressure their son to turn himself in, to the police, local sources reported.
In related news, The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers kidnapped, Monday, 27 Palestinians, in different parts of the occupied West Bank, during extensive military invasions and violent searches of homes.
Invasions, home searches and kidnappings were reported in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, the central West Bank city of Ramallah in addition to Jenin and Nablus cities in northern West Bank.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces, demolished on Monday morning ten facilities, including tents, barns and residential structures, in the Khillat Khader community east of Tubas district, northern Jordan Valley, under the pretext of “no building permit.” According to local sources, four families made up of 20 members, have now lost their home.
In the Gaza strip, The Israeli navy, on Monday, attacked and abducted nine Palestinian fishermen while they were on board two fishing boats offshore Gaza, according to local sources. The navy also seized the two fishing boats and dragged them to Ashdod seaport, as well.
This came only few hours after the navy opened heavy machine gunfire on fishermen’s boats while sailing within the same area, which caused damage to two boats. No injuries were reported among fishermen who apparently fled the scene.
