A Palestinian teen succumbed, on Tuesday, to live gunshot wounds inflicted on him by the Israeli army more than two weeks ago in Jenin, and Israeli forces shot three Palestinian young men in the village of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin.
A Palestinian teen was pronounced dead, on Tuesday, more than two weeks after he was shot by Israeli forces in the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that Yamen Kamel Ateeq, 18, succumbed to wounds he sustained at dawn on October 30, 2023 when the Israeli army attacked the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.
On Tuesday evening, many Palestinians gathered in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, carried the body of the slain teen on their shoulders, and marched through the streets to his family home.
Loved ones said their final goodbyes before they performed the funeral prayer in the Grand Mosque, and buried him in the Eastern District Martyrs’ Cemetery.
In related news, Israeli forces shot, on Tuesday, three Palestinian young men in the village of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces invaded the village, sparking protests among Palestinian youths, while soldiers fired live rounds, injuring three young men.
