A Palestinian citizen was forced to demolish his own home in occupied Jerusalem, while Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian, and assaulted two near the central West Bank city of Salfit.
In occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian citizen was forced to demolish his home, on Saturday, in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Israeli occupation municipality ordered the demolition of the under-construction home belonging to Samir Al-Halawani, under the pretext of building without a license.
Al–Halawani embarked on tearing down the 150-square-metre home to avoid paying the excessive cost if the Israeli municipality demolished it.
In related news, Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the Al-Ras area in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit in the central occupied West Bank.
Soldiers denied Palestinian farmers the ability to reclaim their lands, and fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens and their homes.
In addition, the army assaulted two Palestinian young men and abducted Samer Saeed Al-Halabi, 18, during the incursion.
