On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian child in Deir Ballout town, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the town, searched homes and streets, and abducted Shadi Ahed Mousa, 15, in the Deir Ballout Medow, and moved him to a military post at the entrance of the town.
The sources added that the soldiers also assaulted several Palestinians while interrogating them and inspecting their ID cards in the town.
The soldiers also closed the western entrance of Marda village, west of Salfit, and assaulted many Palestinians who were trying to return to their homes in the town.
On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian young man died as a result of wounds he sustained 6 days ago in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
According to medical sources, the young man, Jamal Ahmad Abdul Rahman Saudi, 21, from the Balata camp, succumbed to wounds he sustained from an Israeli drone strike on August 15, 2024.
Israeli forces abducted, on Wednesday, six Palestinians, including two young women in the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Hebron.
