Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem early Thursday, abducting at least fifteen Palestinians, including a former prisoner, in addition to detaining and interrogating dozens more and damaging civilian property.
In occupied Jerusalem, troops invaded the town of Silwan and abducted Murad Elian, a recently released political prisoner, from his home in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood.
Elian had been freed just weeks earlier after spending 22 months in administrative detention without charge.
In Hebron, located in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed several areas, including the southern area of the city and the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.
During the invasions, the soldiers detained and interrogated many Palestinians, especially young men, and assaulted some of them.
The soldiers then abducted Yazan Tawfiq Al-Atrash, Adam Husam Abu Turki, Ahmad Ayman Jaradat, and Mohammad Ziyad Al-Shalalda, after detaining dozens of residents and subjecting them to field interrogations.
Another civilian, Mohammad No’man Asfour, was abducted from Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.
Troops also invaded Beit Kahil, northwest of the city, where they ransacked several homes and damaged their contents.
In Qalqilia, located in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city from its southern entrance and deployed in the Al-Habbash neighborhood.
They stormed the home of Abdullah Al-Basha, searched it extensively, and destroyed its contents before withdrawing after a two-hour operation.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the army invaded the Al-Marah neighborhood in the city and initiated extensive and violent searches of homes and property.
The soldiers also Faqqu’a village, east of Jenin, stormed and ransacked homes and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Separately, in the town of Qatanna, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces demolished several privately owned walls without prior notice.
The towns of Qatanna, Al-Qubeiba, and Biddu—all northwest of Jerusalem—continue to face repeated invasions, abductions, and home searches by Israeli forces, contributing to a growing pattern of collective punishment and property violations across the region.
In Salfit, in central West Bank, Israeli occupation forces invaded several villages in the governorate, abducting a young man and detaining three local officials.
Troops stormed the village of Bruqin, stormed multiple homes, and abducted Fa’ed Sabra, the head of the Village Council, along with the secretary of Fateh movement in the town, Mohammad Sabra, and his aide Hatem Samara. All three were taken from their homes during the invasion and released after several hours of interrogation and detention.
In a separate invasion, Israeli forces invaded the village of Marda, north of Salfit, where they ransacked several homes and abducted Ahmad Rasmi Al-Khoffash. Witnesses reported extensive property damage during the searches.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, many military vehicles invaded Turmus Ayya village, north of the city, starting shortly after midnight, and initiated extensive searches of homes and lands, in addition to assaulting and interrogating many Palestinians.
Also in Ramallah, Birzeit University student Mohammad Ala’ Rimawi, 20, from his home in the Al-Masayef neighborhood in the city, Nasim Hosni Barghouthi, 31, and Yousef Ahmad Rimawi, 19, from Beit Rima town, northwest of the city, Mojahid Osama Qassem, 35, from his home in Dura el-Kari’a town, north of the city, in addition to Mousa ed-Deek Dar Ali, 54, and Abdul-Rahman Qa’ad, 36, from Abu Qash, north of Ramallah.
It is worth mentioning that Israeli forces executed two Palestinian young men before dawn on Thursday, after besieging a home in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the two young men killed by occupation forces as Mohammad Qassem Suleiman, 29, and Ala’ Jawdat Bani Odah, 20, adding that the army confiscated their bodies.
The invasions are part of a broader pattern of intensified Israeli military operations across the occupied West Bank, targeting civilian infrastructure, local leadership, and residential areas.
