Israeli forces, on Monday, carried out a series of incursions in various regions of the West Bank and abducted eight Palestinian citizens, including three in Nablus, one in Ramallah, and four in Hebron, including a child.

On Monday afternoon, Israeli forces stormed the village of Kafr Ra’i, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and carried out a search campaign.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded the agricultural area, north of Kafr Ra’i village, and conducted a search operation.

Eyewitnesses reported soldiers detaining a Palestinian young man who was handcuffed and blindfolded; no abductions were reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded the village of Barta’a, northwest of Jenin, on Monday afternoon, stormed a citizen’s home and shop, and confiscated money.

According to Ghassan Qabha, the head of the village council, occupation soldiers invaded and ransacked the home and commercial shop owned by the citizen, Khaled Al-Ghazawi.

Qabha added that soldiers detained, interrogated, and assaulted Al-Ghazawi, before stealing 63,000 shekels ($17,000 USD) from him.

On Monday afternoon, Israeli forces re-stormed the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank after an undercover unit infiltrated the city, and abducted three Palestinian young men.


Media sources said that a large army force stormed the city from its western and eastern entrances after local Palestinians detected the undercover unit in the Al-Mureij neighborhood.

Sources added that Israeli soldiers assaulted the young man, Amir Salami, and vandalized his vehicle, before abducting him.

In the Al-Mureij neighborhood, occupation forces invaded and searched the homes of the young men, Yousef Kharma and Omar Akkad, before abducting them.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli forces invaded the Old City of Nablus, shooting four Palestinian young men and abducting another.

In the central part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces abducted a young man at a military roadblock north of Ramallah, on Monday afternoon.

Media sources said that occupation forces abducted an unidentified young man when he attempted to pass through a military roadblock at the entrance to Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

Furthermore, in the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces abducted, on Monday morning, four Palestinian citizens, including a child, from the city of Hebron.

Media sources said that occupation forces abducted the citizen, Saad Al-Sharbaty and his son, Muawiya, while they were passing through the only road leading to their home in the city center.

Sources added that after breaking into and searching the homes of the young man, Alaa Awadallah Al-Sharbaty and the child, Abdul Mahmoud Abdul Rajabi, occupation soldiers abducted them.
