Israeli occupation soldiers abducted at least eighteen Palestinians from the occupied West Bank since Saturday night and until Sunday afternoon, including a child and former political prisoners. The army also conducted field interrogations of dozens in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society stated that the abductions were distributed across the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, Tubas, Salfit, and Hebron.

They added that the Israeli army carried out a wide-scale invasion in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, during which they conducted field interrogations of dozens of citizens.

This was accompanied by the destruction and vandalism of citizens’ homes and other property; Al-Fawwar camp has recently been witnessing extensive and frequent invasions and abductions.

Israeli soldiers have abducted at least 11,500 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, in addition to more than 5,000 from the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.

The number of abductees from Gaza is much higher, however, Israel is not revealing information and continues to deny requests from human rights groups.
