Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions, across the Hebron district, abducting an elderly man, a woman, and four children from the towns of Yatta and Beit Ummar. Local activists and eyewitnesses described the operations as part of an ongoing pattern of intimidation targeting residents in the southern West Bank.

Media activist Osama Makhamra stated that Israeli forces stopped a woman and her child in the Khalidiya area east of Yatta, south of Hebron, seized their vehicle, and transferred them to an unknown location.

The incident occurred during an evening military presence that has intensified in the area over recent weeks.

Makhamra added that Israeli forces also invaded Khirbet al-Rakeez, where they abducted elderly resident Saeed al‑Amour.

The abduction came shortly after he was assaulted by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, who vandalized the fence surrounding his home before soldiers arrived and took him into custody.

In Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, media activist Mohammad Awad reported that Israeli forces invaded the town, deployed foot patrols through residential alleys, and abducted three children while they were sitting on the roof of their home near the town’s main entrance.

The abducted children were identified as, Adam Mohammad Talal al‑Alami, 14, Mohammad Ghtafan Talal al‑Alami ,13, and Khalil Bassam Khalil al‑Alami, 15.

Awad stated that soldiers handcuffed the children, then transported them to a military facility inside the Karmei Tzur illegal colony, which is built on privately owned Palestinian land.

Human rights groups and local activists note that arrests of minors, elderly residents, and women have sharply increased in the Hebron governorate, particularly in areas adjacent to settlements and military roads.

The use of force during abductions, including handcuffing children and transferring detainees to colony‑based military posts — has been widely documented by Palestinian and international monitoring organizations.
