Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, five Palestinians in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, after searching their homes, in addition to invading and searching homes in Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.
The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes in the city and the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, and abducted five Palestinians.
It identified the abducted Palestinians as Mohammad Sharabati and Hasan Fadel al-Mohtaseb, from Hebron city, in addition to Ahmad Ibrahim Jawabra, Yahya al-Hoor and Qussai Jawabra.
The soldiers also invaded many neighborhoods in Hebron city, and installed roadblocks on roads leading to Sa’ir and Halhoul towns, in addition to Hebron’s northern entrance, before stopping and searching dozens of cars.
In related news, the dozens of soldiers invaded Qalqilia city, in northern West Bank before storming an apartment building and violently searching all its flats.
The soldiers also invaded Kufur Qaddoum town, east of Qalqilia, in addition to closing the main roads leading to Ras Karkar village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted five Palestinians from their homes in the al-‘Isawiya town, and two children in Bab al-‘Amoud area, in occupied East Jerusalem.
On Monday at night, the soldiers abducted Amir Bassel Deeriyya, 18, from Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, after summoning him for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center.
