On Saturday, Israeli soldiers abducted at least fourteen Palestinians, detained and interrogated many others, and shot one in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Beit Furik town and Beit Dajan village, east of the city, leading to protests. They fired live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
According to media sources, the soldiers invaded and searched homes in Beit Furik and Beit Dajan, abducting Abdul-Qader Yousef Sha’er, Majd Mohammad Abu Jeish, and Mohammad Radwan Kanaan from Beit Dajan, as well as Tayyim Mohammad Khatatba, Mohammad Bajes Khatatba, and Mohammad Rafiq Mleitat from Beit Furik.
In Anata town, northeast of the occupied capital, Jerusalem, the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the abdomen during protests that erupted after the army invaded the town.
During the invasion, the army abducted five young men, all from the Zilbani family and took them to a nearby military base.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the army invaded Silwad town, east of the city, searched homes, and abducted Mohammad Faisal Al-Obeisi, Yamen Al-Jamal, and Essam Ahmad Adas. During the operation, the soldiers assaulted several Palestinians and caused damage to at least one car.
Additionally, the soldiers invaded Deir Ibzi’ and Shuqba villages, west of Ramallah, searched homes, and briefly detained a young man before releasing him.
In related news, the soldiers abducted Muthanna Sadala from Anabta town, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, after stopping him at a military roadblock.
In Bethlehem, the army invaded Al-Khader town, south of the city, stormed farmlands, and abducted Mohammad Yousef Al-Kobar, 61, and Ali Abu Al-Kat’a, 68, while they were working on their lands in the Al-Abyar area.
Local sources said the soldiers took the two men to the Etzion military base and security center, interrogated them for several hours, and later released them.
