Israeli forces abducted, on Thursday and before dawn on Friday, twenty-two Palestinian citizens, including two children, from various regions in the occupied West Bank.

Before dawn on Thursday, Israeli forces invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to Eid Barahma, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Jericho, the army abducted the citizens, Yamen Yasser Kamal and Bahaa Sami Al-Alam, after storming and searching their homes.

In the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded Nablus city, before dawn on Thursday, and abducted two Palestinian young men.

Media sources said that occupation forces besieged the Al-Ein refugee camp in Nablus, opened fire with live rounds, and stormed several citizens’ homes, before abducting the young men, Hassan Marouf and Hussein Al-Ashqar.

Meanwhile, at dawn on Thursday, the army abducted two young men from the Ramallah governorate, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

In the village of Kafr Ein, northwest of Ramallah, soldiers invaded and searched the home of Saher Khalil Arqoub, before abducting him.

In the town of Kobar, northwest of the city, soldiers abducted Abdul Rahman Al-Barghouti, after storming and searching his home.


Before dawn on Friday, the army invaded the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah, and the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and abducted two Palestinian young men.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed Beitunia town, breaking into and ransacking the homes of Bahaa Haboub and Ahmad Ezzat, before abducting them.


After midnight Wednesday/Thursday, occupation forces stormed the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and opened fire with concussion grenades and tear gas canisters; no injuries were reported.

Furthermore, on Thursday morning, Israeli forces invaded and ransacked several citizens’ homes in the towns of Beit Fajjar and Husan, southwest and west of Bethlehem, before abducting ten Palestinian citizens, including two children.

In Beit Fajjar town, soldiers abducted Atef Mohammad Al-Kar, 28, Nael Ribhi Taqatqa, 48, and his son, Nader, 20, in addition to Shakib Abdel-Jamil Taqatqa, 35, Mohammad Hassan Abdel Al-Jamil, 22, Ahmad Ayyash Khalil Thawabta, 37, and Ali Mohammad Taqatqa, 31.

In Husan town, soldiers abducted two children, Rayan Ihab Hamamra, 15, Abd al-Rahman Yasser Hamamra, 16, and his brother, Nasrallah, 20, in addition to Muhammad Khaled Hamamra, 20.

Furthermore, the army broke into many citizens’ homes in the town of Ad-Dhahiriya, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and abducted the citizens, Mahmoud Nasser Al-Hawarin and Ahmad Hamid Al-Khudayrat.

In related news, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian woman near Tulkarem and two children near Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, and caused several others to sustain inhalation injuries near Bethlehem and Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have abducted at least 8,840 Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.
