Israeli forces abducted two Palestinians in the southern West Bank governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron on Monday morning.
Occupation forces invaded the town of Doha, west of Bethlehem, and abducted a young man after searching his home.
Media sources said that Israeli soldiers stormed the town of Doha and closed the main street, sparking protests among local Palestinian citizens.
Sources added that the army fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens; no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces besieged the home of the citizen, Hassan Abu Ajamiya, before storming and ransacking it, and abducting his son, Mohammad, 21.
Media sources said that occupation soldiers stormed the town of Doura, southwest of Hebron, and abducted the young man, Ihab Abu Zneid, after invading and searching his home.
The Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Prisoners’ Society reported that the total number of abductions since October 7, 2023 has reached more thanĀ 9,855, including those who were abducted from their homes, through military roadblocks, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
Sources added that the data related to arrest cases do not include the detainees from Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands.
