On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces abducted two Palestinians in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that soldiers abducted Amin Maragha, a member of the administrative board of the Silwan Sports Club, after stopping his vehicle and transferring him to the Maskobiyya interrogation center in Jerusalem.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces abducted attorney Amir Maragha while he was passing through the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan. He was taken to Room 4 of the Maskobiyya facility, located in West Jerusalem.
These abductions are part of a long-standing, systematic campaign targeting Palestinian residents of occupied Jerusalem.
Each year, hundreds are detained, including national figures, athletes, activists, and journalists, in what rights groups describe as an effort to suppress grassroots mobilization and national identity within the city.
Detainees are routinely subjected to harsh interrogations and administrative detention without charge or trial in Israeli prisons.
