In a series of invasions earlier Wednesday, Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted and detained at least six Palestinians in the Balata refugee camp and Balata town, located east of Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources revealed that military vehicles invaded the refugee camp after blocking its entrances, stormed and ransacked many homes, and positioned snipers on rooftops.
They added that the soldiers conducted field interrogations with dozens of residents and abducted four Palestinians; Yamen Sobeh Sobeh, Ahmed Abu Obeyya, Omar Abu Saleem, and Mahmoud Al-Asmar.
Additionally, the soldiers beat a resident in the Hashashin neighborhood, causing bruises and injuries, before Palestinian medics transported him to a hospital in Nablus for treatment.
The soldiers initially prevented the medics from reaching the wounded Palestinian before eventually allowing them through.
During the invasion of Balata al-Balad (Balata town), Israeli forces abducted Raed Dweikat after invading and ransacking his home.
Moreover, the soldiers abducted Sa’ad Baha’ Ya’ish after invading and searching his family’s home in the Taybeh neighborhood.
