Israeli soldiers invaded, Thursday, Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and confiscated a cement truck after halting the construction of a Palestinian home.

Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the National and Popular Committees in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, has reported that soldiers and personnel of the so-called “Civil Administration Office,” the administrative branch of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine, invaded the Khallet al-Wahsh area in Yatta, before halting the construction of a home, owned by Ziad Abu Mayyala.

Jabour added that the soldiers also confiscated a cement truck and took it to their military base.

The army said the construction, although on private Palestinian lands, is in Area C of the occupied West Bank, under full Israeli military control, and did not receive a permit from the Civil Administration Office.

The construction received the approval of the Local Council in Yatta, but the illegal occupation authorities do not recognize the Palestinian jurisdiction.
