Israeli forces caused extensive destruction, on Tuesday, in the Tulkarem refugee camp in Tulkarem city, in the northwestern part of the West Bank, and forced several Palestinian citizens to evacuate their homes in camp.
Media sources said that military bulldozers caused excessive destruction to the infrastructure and to citizens’ private property in the Tulkarem refugee camp, and forced most of its residents to leave their homes.
Faisal Salama, the head of the Popular Committee for Tulkarem Camp Services, told WAFA that the occupation forcibly displaced most of the residents of the camp.
Salama added that Israeli soldiers, using police attack dogs, invaded many citizens’ homes, forcing them to leave their homes, while confiscating their cell phones, and turned several homes into military observation points.
He stated that occupation forces caused citizens’ homes to ignite into flames, while bulldozers demolished some of the evacuated homes.

Sources added that military bulldozers carried out sabotage operations in several neighborhoods in the Tulkarem refugee camp, causing widespread devastation to the infrastructure and citizens’ property.
Occupation forces continued to besiege the Al-Israa Specialized Hospital and the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, interfering with the work of ambulance crews, stopping all patients who enter or exit the ambulances, checking their ID cards, and interrogating some of them.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians, including a young woman, and injured eight others after storming the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem camp.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded, on Tuesday night, the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, detonated a warehouse, and caused severe destruction to the streets and infrastructure.
