Israeli soldiers invaded, Wednesday, the as-Sawiya village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and handed the Palestinians demolition orders targeting twenty-five homes.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors Israel’s illegal activities in northern West Bank, said personnel of the so-called “Civil Administration Office”, the administrative branch of Israel’s illegal occupation, invaded the town accompanied by dozens of soldiers.
Daghlas added that the soldiers handed the families demolition orders targeting 25 homes and stated that many of them are inhabited while the remaining are still under construction. The homes are all in the western area of the village.
The Palestinians in the village have 45 days to file appeals or self-demolish their homes, located on their lands in Area C of the West Bank.
It is worth mentioning that, two weeks ago, the army handed demolition orders targeted twenty homes and a mosque in Rojeeb village, east of Nablus.
