Israeli soldiers injured, on Monday at night, several Palestinians in Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, during protests that erupted after the army invaded and searched homes.

Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded the Wad al-Karm area in Hebron city, before storming and ransacking homes.

They added that several Palestinians protested the invasion, and hurled stones at the army jeeps.

The soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades at the protesters and surrounding homes, causing many residents to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
