On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Kafrit village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and injured several Palestinians during ensuing protests.
Media sources said several army vehicles invaded the village before the soldiers stormed and searched homes.
The sources added that the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians, including some in their homes, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
During the invasion, Israeli military vehicles caused damage to public property, cars, and streets, while the soldiers also injured Mohammad Tareq Fares and Mohammad Adnan Awwad after detaining and repeatedly assaulting them.
In addition, the soldiers closed the iron gate at the western entrance of Deir Sharaf town, linking between Nablus and Tulkarem, blocking all Palestinian traffic; the gate was also closed Tuesday for many hours.
It is worth mentioning that the army installed the gate on October 10 when it imposed a strict siege on the entirety of the occupied West Bank.
Also Wednesday, the army killed four Palestinians, including two children, after a prolonged military attack against the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp.
In the pre-dawn hours of Thursday, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man and injured four others in Betunia town west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
